In January 2014, Tango Underpants experienced an immensely exciting start to the new year with the screening of the film at the Flickerfest Film Festival in Sydney. Flickerfest is Australia’s largest and most notable film festival, being the only Academy Award and BAFTA accredited film festival. This means that films that screen in Flickerfest have the potential to be nominated for an Oscar or BAFTA award.
